Reflection

In this module, I learned more about design principles like contrast, balance, visual flow, and unity. These principles are all very important for how things look. I realised that design is about more than just making something look nice. It is also about clearly showing information and guiding the viewer's visual attention.

The best part was turning my first ideas into the finished piece. I was especially pleased with how I adjusted the composition and pairing of elements in Task 3. This made my work more visually striking, which felt great.

This module also helped me understand my strengths as a designer. I discovered that I like storytelling, but I still need to improve my attention to detail, as well as my control over composition and colour schemes. This experience has taught me that it's important to balance creativity and standards.

During the course, I have become more confident in applying design principles, but I can still improve my typography and composition. In the future, I hope to keep improving my design skills to create works that look good and have a deep meaning.

TASK 2 (Visual Analysis & Ideation)
